As I approach 17 incredible years in photography, I can hardly believe how far this journey has taken me. It has led me to breathtaking landscapes and allowed me to capture the profound stories of the people I photograph. Each moment spent behind the lens has been an adventure, revealing the beauty and emotion found within diverse cultures and experiences. I anticipate where this journey will lead me next.
My approach
I never imagined that my love for "people watching" would blossom into a fulfilling career. It's an absolute privilege to capture beautiful, significant milestones in people's lives, and I'm truly honored to play a part in documenting these special moments. My journey goes beyond weddings—I’ve had the joy of photographing engagements, maternity sessions, and growing families. Each experience makes me feel like I'm woven into the fabric of their stories.
I was born in a refugee camp in Thailand, my parents had fled the horrors of the Khmer Rouge, searching for safety and a fresh start. In the 1980s, that journey brought us to the U.S., where I grew up in Georgia and learned to call it home. I’ve been a Georgia peach ever since.
Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with the simple things, slow mornings with good coffee, long drives with country music playing through the speakers, and the kind of travel that opens your heart just a little wider each time. I married a man who can outcook me without even trying (and I’m okay with that), and together we’ve built a life with our three amazing kids. We’re always chasing new adventures, whether it’s a road trip or just finding joy in the little moments.
